The Department of Civil Engineering arranged the Farewell Program of graduating students on February 14, 2013. Pro Vice Chancellor of UAP Prof. Dr. M. R. Kabir was present as the Chief Guest of the occasion.On this occasion a cultural program was arranged. Faculty Members of Department of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Md. Tarek Uddin, Sarah Tahsin Noor Kakoli and others were present. Students of junior and senior batches were present on the occasion. Chief Guest Prof. Dr. M. R. Kabir said. "The teachers always expect their students to succeed in their life. It is a pleasure for a teacher to see his student reach their goals". He added, "There is no way but perseverance to succeed in life." He appreciated the effort of the MS student of CE Mr. Hedayetwho despite many difficulties and complications did not give up and continued his studies. He asked the graduating students to be positive and energetic.

Prof. Dr. Md. Tarek Uddin said, "There is a difference between student life and professional life. You have to apply your prudence at your workplace to make the correct decision. If you make right use of your time you will succeed." Faculty Member Dr. Sarah Tahsin Noor Kakoli said, "I will be missing you all as you people were one of my most favorite batches."
